About Dos Margaritas

Dos Margaritas is a non-profit organization with a mission to conserve the natural environment in Latin America through education programs that promote sustainable develop for the local communities.

Since 1999, Dos Margaritas has been a part of actively shaping the sustainable movement for Patagonia. Our Eco-Center in Futaleufú delivered social programs to promote sustainable development of the communities, educational programs for young local people aspiring to be eco-guides and a practical model of sustainable agriculture which included recuperating prairies & establishing a productive organic farm. During this process we introduced the local community to concepts central to environmental protection and the importance of the conservation of nature, as well as, tools and capabilities designed to ensure the success of the community in the growing eco-tourism economy.

Our park is a reserve of native forest characteristic of the valley of the Futaleufú river. We have successfully co-existed with the this magnificent forest for more than ten years, it is our hope that this precious place stay in the hands of someone who will truly value its rich history and its future.
